Center efforts depend upon the work of Postdoctoral Researchers with experience in high-performance computing, plasma simulation, turbulent combustion simulation, uncertainty quantification and advanced numerical methods.  We are continually on the look out for experienced researchers in these areas.  There are also often opportunities in XPACC for Research Programmers with experience in high-performance computing. Student Opportunities

Education and training in high-performance computing (HPC) and computational science is one of the principal goals of XPACC.  Research assistantships in the center will support fundamental research in computer science areas related HPC; numerical methods; computational physics combustion, plasma and turbulence modeling; and experimental diagnostics.  These positions are arranged, as for other research assistantship, directly with the center faculty PIs.
