Simon Garcia de Gonzalo


Simon Garcia de Gonzalo is a third year Ph.D student in Computer Science in the area of HPC. Most of his experience and work is in the area of accelerator technology on supercomputers and how they can be leveraged more effectively on a cluster setting. Garcia de Gonzalo previously worked on optimizing scientific applications, CoMD, to take advantage of GPU’s accelerators and investigated the performance of various HPC applications, CORAL benchmarks, using Intel’s Xeon Phi technology.
