Alex B Brooks
Alex Brooks is a Ph.D. student in the department of Computer Science at UIUC, advised by Professor Marc Snir. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Monmouth College. Alex is currently focusing on design and development of a parallel runtime system targeting high-performance computing by coupling lightweight tasking models with one-sided communication and software-caching. He is also exploring techniques for memory management in emerging heterogeneous memory subsystems.
